In our look at the 2022 MLB Futures wagering we believe we have found a few plays that are worth playing prior to the start of the regular season.
Futures wagering requires you to lay out the cash well in advance and ride out the season to see if you’re a winner.

The best time to make a futures bet is before the season has begun because payouts on futures bets decrease once the season starts. Payouts will be even lower just before the World Series when 28 other teams have been eliminated so it’s best to place your bets as soon as possible.

Opening Day 2021 is scheduled for Thursday 31st March but that could be delayed as The MLB lockout began on December 2 of 2021 and 4 months later we are no closer to a start date then we’d like to see.

MLB announced Wednesday that the collective bargaining agreement deadline is Monday, February 28. If the two sides do not come up with a CBA by that then, three things will happen. 2022 regular season games will be canceled, players will not be recouped for canceled games, and these games will not be rescheduled.
