NFL picks, predictions for Week 8
2 min readWeek 8 in the NFL is here and please repeat after me, “I will not take the Browns,I will not take the Browns”! The feature game in week 8 will be the Baltimore Ravens taking on the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers.
Game #1
Pittsburgh (6-0) is the last unbeaten team remaining in the NFL. The Baltimore Ravens sit at (5-1) and their Defense has been nothing short of sensational all year long.
Vegas Line: This game opened up with Baltimore being a (-6.5) O/U of 49,.5 and since then has seen nothing but Steelers money coming in and dropped down to Baltimore (-3.5) O/U is now at 46.5.
Baltimore has defeated Pittsburgh 12 of the past 17 times at M&T Bank Stadium. Fans will be allowed in the stands for the first time in Baltimore this season with around 4,000 expected. This game should provide to me a slug fest and I’m going to make the call.
Prediction: Baltimore 31-21 (Lay the (-3.5) points in this one
Game # 2 New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills (-4)
I said it last week there is now place to go but down for New England with the guy they have under center running the offense. Cam Newton IMHO Should be watching from the sideline because is flat out isn’t that good.
This line opens at Buffalo (-3.0) O/U at 46 and quickly buffalo started to take some money and the line currently sits at (-4) O/U at 43 to 43.5
The last time Buffalo beat New England was 2016 when the Patriots didn’t have Tom Brady in the lineup due to an injury. The Patriots haven’t lost four straight games since 2002.
Prediction: Buffalo 24-14 (Lay the -4)
Good luck with your selections
