This weeks stop on The PGA Tour one week removed from The Masters is 2021 RBC Heritage which will take place on Harbour Town Golf Links.

Dustin Johnson, ranked second in the world rankings, is the headliner and pre-tournament betting favorite at +1000 coming off a missed cut at the Masters. Webb Simpson also returns to defend his 2020 title.

Harbour Town Golf Links will be the shortest course these golfers will see all year long.The RBC Heritage is played at Hilton Head’s Harbour Town Golf Links, a par 71 at approximately 7,100 yards and this is the only course to ever host this event.

The RBC Heritage is a four day long, standard strokes play event on the PGA Tour. After two days play, the field is cut to reduce the numbers of those taking part. Those that have successfully made the cut, continue on to the final two day’s play. By the end of the final day, the tournament should have found a winner, the player with highest under par score overall. If no winner has been found at that point, a tie break played over three holes will take place for the winner of the tournament to be determined.

The course’s challenging18th finishing hole is one of the more well-known finishing holes in golf with its spectacular views of the Calibogue Sound and iconic lighthouse.

The PGA Tour will head west for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans at TPC Louisiana. As the only event on the PGA Tour consisting of teams, it’s an official tournament for FedExCup purposes but not for OWGR. That makes it a mostly fun event in the midst of big-time championship season. Jon Rahm and Ryan Palmer are the defending champions ranked No. 3 and No. 28 in the world.
