NFL WEEK # 8|Pittsburgh at Cleveland: Pick,Prediction
2 min read
Sunday’s week 8 match-up takes us to FirstEnergy Stadium. in Cleveland,Ohio for an AFC North clash between Pittsburgh Steelers(3-3) and the Cleveland Browns (4-3).
The Steelers come into this game off a buy week and are well rested while the Browns are a banged up team on both sides of the ball .
The Browns are expected to see Baker Mayfield returning to action Sunday and Nick Chubb should be a game time decision.I don’t believe the reports that Mayfield will be returning this coming weekend so make sure you check updated news feeds on this one.
Cleveland has won two of the three matchups between these, including a 48-37 victory over Pittsburgh on Wild Card Weekend. Pittsburgh still leads the all-time series 77-61-1.
Pittsburgh is 2-4 against the spread to start the season with there biggest win being against the highly touted Super Bowl contenders, Buffalo Bills.
The Cleveland Browns are 4-3 against the spread prior to last weeks game versus the Denver Broncos.
The Steelers are trying to make it three wins in a row and stay relevant in the AFC North.
The Browns have injuries everywhere, but they still have a defense that ranks third in the NFL in rush defense.
The Steelers’ offense is serious bad in my honest opinion and they sit near the bottom of the league in just about any category.

- Browns are 0-6 ATS in their last six games played in week eight
- Browns are 1-8 ATS in their last nine games against an opponent in the American Football Conference North Division
- Steelers are 4-2 ATS in their last six games against Cleveland.
They always say to bet with your head and not your heart. This is tough for me to say Cleveland loses this one but I do feel a healthier Steeler team where Mike Tomlin is riding a (4-0) record off a buy week will have enough to sqeek out a cover with the (+4) being offered. Cleveland wins but fails to cover the line.
Prediction:CLEVELAND 20 Pittsburgh 19 (Pitts Covers)
