Monday Night Football: Seattle Seahawks vs. Washington Football Team Prediction & Pick

2 min read

The defending NFC West champion Seahawks (3-7) travel to FedExField, Landover, Maryland and hook up against The Washington Football Team (4-6) in what may well turn out to be a Monday Night sleeping pill for me.

Since the return of Russell Wilson at quarter back, the Seahawks are 0-2 and have managed just 13 points. Seattle’s offense under Russell Wilson has been outright awful, Russell has only completed 51.5% of his passes for 368 yards and no touchdowns in those two games.

Our long time supporters of this site America’s Bookie have opened this game at the following numbers listed below.
America’s Bookie:
Opening Line: Settle (-3.5,-110
Total: O/U ( 48.5,-110)

Current Line: Washington (-1.0,-110)
Total: O/U (46.5,-110)

Washington enters this home game off their second straight win when they took to the road last week and downed the Carolina Panthers 27-21.

Seattle comes into this monday night game off their second straight loss and their fifth loss in their last six games as they were beaten by an Arizona team missing serveral starters on both sides of the ball.

Sitting at (4-6) Washington Football team has a real chance to get back into playoff contention. Washington hasen’t allowed more than 24 points in a month while QB Taylor Heinicke has been doing everything since taking over in week #2 after Ryan Fitzpatrick, sustained a hip injury in the opener. In the last two games Taylor Heinicke, he’s completed 72.7% and 81.3% of
his passes with 8.0 and 9.4 YPA, 4 TD passes and 1 pick.

Seattle 6-1 OU aft Arz… but 0-10 OU away vs NFC East… 1-4 OU Monday RG.. 1-4 OU Game 11… 1-3 OU bef SF
Washington 4-2 OU Mondays… but 0-8 OU vs NFC West… 0-3 OU L3 vs Sea (36.6)… 1-8 OU aft Car… 2-5 OU bef non-conf RG

Prediction & Pick:
Washington (-1).. If your book has Washington at plus points you might want to grab those now. There’s little reason to have faith in Seattle’s offense with Russell Wilson right now but looking over at their sideline does anyone really want to see Gino in this game?
WASHINGTON, 27-17
