What a Friday night treat we have in store for us out west as two Pac 12 teams in desperate need of a win tangle in Berkeley. Oregon has clearly been the worse team so far this year, but Cal has had its issues as well and the loser of this game is going to find it very tough to become bowl eligible.
I have liked what I have seen at times out of Cal QB Davis Webb who moves the ball nicely down the field and has been better lately without making mistakes. The problem is the Cal defense leaves as lot to be desired, but good news Bears fans….The Oregon D is just that must worse.
I look for this to be a back and forth game all night as neither team will be able to slow down the other, but in the end, Cal will find a huge play from Webb and use the energy from the home crowd for some big defensive stands late and get at least a step closer for one week to getting back to a bowl game in 2016.
7.4 DTM Bagels and Locks on the Golden Bears (CAL -3)
