This is going to be a heck of a game in the American conference on a balmy Friday night in South Florida. Navy is on some kind of a run beating Houston and Memphis in back to back weeks and trying to make a bid for a New Years bowl berth. On the other side USF has been playing some great football as well, blasting teams and creating a ton of turnovers on defense.
The Bulls come off a tough loss on the road to Temple, but had really been building to a crescendo before that game last week and now will look to turn the tide back in their favor. The crowd should be hyped on a Friday night against the Middies and this is going to be a heck of a game.
Look for Navy QB Will Worth, who has been excellent all year, to keep his team close throughout and while it will be tough for Navy to win this one outright on the road against an athletic Bulls defense, this one has all the makings of coming down to the wire. The six and a half points is just too much for a ball control offense team like Navy. Eat it up and get your college football weekend off to a great start.
