What a total mess it is in La La Land as the Rams are playing terrible football and just had their coach fired a few days ago. Their present, a date with their division rival Seahawks who come off a blowout loss at the hands of the Packers and know how important a win here is to keep pace with the Lions for the NFC’s 2-seed.
The Rams know their franchise is in disarray and that is just the thing that could actually help them focus for just one night on a national stage. I have liked some of what I have seen out of overall #1 pick Jared Goff, and see him having a focused night. The Hawks have played much better at home than on the road, but last weeks loss to Green Bay was alarming in its width and breath.
Look for Seattle to win this game cause they are simply the much better team, but look for Goff to keep his squad in this game and for the absurd 16 points to be too many in the end. This is a perfect example of a late season game that means absolutely nothing to one side, yet they play like it does.
