Both these teams have become sexy picks to make an unheralded run to the Super Bowl out of the NFC. The Pack won 6 straight, just like Aaron Rodgers said they would, to end the season as NFC North Champs. The G-Men might have the best defense in the NFL right now and have been fantastic the majority of the last five weeks of the season. This is simply going to be a hell of a game fine friends.
Rodgers showed once again last week on the road in Detroit on Sunday Night Football in a winner take all game for the NFC North, that he is just one of the best QB’s in modern NFL history. There have been few better and extending plays and getting the job done in clutch situations than A-Rodg.
On the other side, the Giants have used their suffocating defense to get in the postseason for the first time since 2011 and the last two times they won the Super Bowl, 2007 and 2011, they beat Green Bay on the road on the way to the title.
While the Giants will definitely have a great chance to win this game outright and these numbers will scare you if you’re a Packer Backer (The Giants have covered nine straight playoff road games as an underdog and have won their last seven road playoff games as an underdog OUTRIGHT), but even with that this Green Bay team is rolling. It is going to be a battle till the end, but Rodgers is just too hot right now and the Packers will hold onto he ball and not turn it over in a key situation while the Giants will and that will be the difference ion advancing the Packers to play Atlanta or Dallas next weekend.
