The Tom Brady Revenge Tour continues on Sunday as the Pats get a chance to get to their 7th Super Bowl of the Brady era…Just take a second to let that sink in….teams like my Lions have never even been to one and now New England gets a chance to go to their 7th in less than 20 years! That is absolutely incredible! Standing in their path though is a very scary Pittsburgh Steelers team that can beat you in so many different ways.
The Pats have found ways all season long to hide their deficiencies and use Brady’s arms, legs, and amazing decision making ability to gain the #1 seed in the AFC and stand on the precipice of history yet again. The Steelers have had their issues at times, but after their defensive dominating win, punctuating by an NFL Playoff record 6 field goals by Chris Boswell, they are ready to end the Pats quest to shove it into Commissioner Roger Goodell’s face after the whole Deflategate fiasco.
This game is going to be close throughout and will come down to Big Ben and the Steelers offensive ability to score in bunches against a Pats D that has shut teams down this season. New England looked mortal at times against Houston, who has trouble scoring in general, and now faces a team that could easily put up 30 if everything goes their way. I see this coming down to the last possession and while I think the Pats will win this one in the end, there is no way I’m not taking the 7 with Big Ben and all his weapons.
7.4 DTM Bagels and Locks on the Steelers (PIT +7)
