NBA Who’s Hot and Who’s Not – Feb 6

2 min read

NBA betting in the first full week of February offers up a few really hot teams to take into consideration when betting on the games at BetAnySports. The team at the top of the list heading into a huge Monday night showdown against Cleveland is the Washington Wizards, who are riding a straight-up seven-game winning streak.

BetAnySports has the Wizards favored by a point at home in this matchup and the total line for the game has been set at 219.5. Going back to a 112-105 victory against Minnesota on Jan. 6 as a 4.5-point home favorite, Washington has won 14 of 16 games SU while lining bettor’s pockets with a 13-3 record against the spread. It has been able to cover in six of the seven games in the team’s current SU winning streak. This run has the Wizards tied for third place in the Eastern Conference standings at 30-20 both SU and ATS.

The Boston Celtics are holding down the second spot in the East at 33-18 on the year and they are riding a SU seven-game winning streak as well. The only problem with this run is that the Celtics have now failed to cover ATS in their last four games after getting past the Los Angeles Clippers 107-102 this past Sunday as six-point home favorites with BetAnySports. Boston will be back in action on Wednesday night against Sacramento to kick off a four-game Western Conference swing.

Staying in the East, the Miami Heat (21-30) have actually worked their way back into playoff contention with a SU 10-game winning streak. They definitely belong on this week’s hot list as far as betting with a perfect 10-0 record ATS during this same span of games. Miami kicks off a four-game road trip this Monday night with a stop in Minnesota in a game that has been listed as a PICK by BetAnySports. The betting line for the total in this game has been set at 206.

Moving over to the Western Conference standings both Dallas and the Los Angeles Lakers are in the bottom half of the bracket overall, but each team has made some noise lately at BetAnySports with a combined 9-0 run ATS. The Mavericks face Denver on the road Monday night with a four-game winning streak (SU and ATS) and the Lakers return to action on Monday night as well with a road trip east to face New York. Los Angeles has covered in its last five games while going 1-4 SU.
