What a matchup is on hands for Pac 12 Supremacy as two of the top five teams in the country get it going from the desert on a hot Saturday night. Both these teams have been playing good enough to win it all come April, but they both will need to end the regular season in high fashion so they have as much momentum as possible as the second season starts.

UCLA, led by Lonzo Ball, could end up winning 340 games before March Madness starts and seem to just be getting better and better and playing some of the best defense they have played in the last several years to go along with their tremendous offense. The Cats on the other hand were embarrassed by Oregon a couple weeks ago, but have since lit a fire underneath them and are playing some of the best ball in the nation and have won five in a row coming in.

This game is going to be all about tempo, and I just see UCLA having too much of it from the outset. The Bruins can beat you inside and out and I see them toying with the Cats on their home floor in the first half and then Zona will make their run, but it simply won’t be enough in the end. Look for the Bruins to show the nation that they are not only ready for March Madness, but that they might just be the Madness!!
