DUNK CITY VS. CAPITOL CITY. Think that was an accident by the committee? Think again! Who could forget FGCU’s epic run to the Sweet Sixteen back in 2013, knocking off Georgetown in the process and captivating the nation?

Now they get in-state FSU to try to replicate that monumental upset and they get a Seminoles team that might be prime for just that. The Noles are ultra- talented, but have been super underwhelming as of late and lost a golden chance to get something gong in the ACC tourney against Notre Dame.

The Noles were blasted for the better part of 40 minutes until a late comeback bid fell short, but what is more concerning for FSU is their up and down play for a big part of the end of the regular season. This might not be as good overall as a FGCU team as the one in 2013 was, but they are still loaded and should give the Noles fits.

FSU has a great chance to win this one, but with the way they have played lately and how dominant the Eagles have been late in the season at times, 12 points is just way too many to back FSU. Look for this to be a back and forth game with FSU never leading by more than 7 or 8 and if that is how it stays till the final four minutes, FGCU could walk out of Orlando with another stunning first round upset.
