NBA Who’s Hot and Who’s Not – March 20

College basketball may be the hottest bet at BetAnySports right now, but that does not mean that you should forget about the NBA. The Oklahoma City Thunder bring a five-game winning streak both straight-up and against the spread into Monday’s night showdown against Golden State as 2.5-point home underdogs. The Memphis Grizzlies are another hot team in the Western Conference with a four-game winning streak both SU and ATS.

The Warriors have strung together three SU wins of their own following a 2-5 SU slide in their previous seven contests, but even with Saturday’s 117-92 romp over Milwaukee as 10.5-point home favorites, they are still just 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games on BetAnySports’ closing betting line. The total stayed UNDER 215 points against the Bucks and it has stayed UNDER in 11 of Golden State’s last 12 games. The total line for Monday night’s showdown against Oklahoma City has been set at 221.

The Grizzlies continue to jockey for position in the West at 40-30 SU on the year. Prior to this current four-game run, Memphis had lost seven of its previous nine games both SU and ATS. It will kick off a four-game road trip this Tuesday night against New Orleans.

The Philadelphia 76ers’ chances to make the playoffs in the East at 26-43 SU are at best slim and none, but they remain the top betting team in the NBA this season at 44-24-1 ATS. Their current ATS winning streak stands at six games following Sunday’s stunning 105-99 upset against Boston as five-point home underdogs. They have now won three of their last four games SU heading into Monday’s road game against Orlando as five-point underdogs.

Another hot betting team in the East this season has been the Miami Heat at 34-36 SU with a profitable 43-27 record ATS. The just dropped a 115-104 decision to Portland on Sunday as 5.5-point home favorites, but they will look to get back on track this Tuesday at home against Phoenix. Prior to Sunday’s setback, Miami had covered BetAnySports’ closing spread in its previous seven games while going 6-1 SU.

One team to possibly go against in the East this week is the Washington Wizards at 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games. They lost to Charlotte 98-93 on Saturday as 3.5-point road underdogs after failing to cover as 7.5-point home favorites in Friday’s 112-107 victory against Chicago. Washington stays on the road this Monday night to play Boston.
