What a juicy matchup we are in store for with a trip to the Elite 8 on the line as two teams that have what it takes to win it all meet in K.C. The Wolverines might simply be the hottest team in the country right now and after getting a scare with their plane skidding off the runway on the way to the B1G tourney a couple weeks ago, have not lost since and are playing their best basketball of the season and some of the best on any team in the tourney.

Oregon lost one of their best players in Chris Boucher and his almost 12 points and 7 boards a game at the end of the Pac12 tourney, but have found a way to get by a dangerous Rhode Island team to get to the Sweet Sixteen. While they miss Boucher this is still a loaded team with players like do-everything Dillon Brooks and Tyler Dorsey.

This will come down to whether Michigan can keep their unreal balance going as this is a team that can kill you with the three, but if they aren’t hitting them can use Mo Wagner and their inside outside game to beat you like they did against 2-seed Louisville.

Look for this to be one of the more exciting games of the tourney and as talented as Oregon is even without Boucher, it just won’t be enough against tourney darling Michigan. How can you bet against the hottest team in the land? Michigan keeps it going for at least one more night behind another huge game from Wagner and super senior Derrick Walton Jr.
