NBA Who’s Hot and Who’s Not – April 10

The NBA regular season draws to a close early this week in anticipation of the start of the playoffs, so betting these final few games with BetAnySports can be a bit tricky with nothing on the line for many of the teams. Since it is always a good idea to keeping riding a hot team both on the court and at the betting window, the Golden State Warriors remain at the top of this week’s NBA hot list.

With Saturday’s 123-101 victory over New Orleans in which they covered a heavy 17-point closing spread, the Warriors’ straight-up winning streak reached 14 games and they are now 10-1-2 against the spread in their last 13 outings. The total went OVER BetAnySports’ closing 216-point line in that last victory and it has gone OVER in five of their last six games.

Golden State will close things out with Monday’s home game against Utah before hosting the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night. It is 5-1-2 ATS in its last eight games at home and the total has gone OVER in the last three games at Oracle Arena.

Speaking of the Lakers, they have been one of the hottest betting teams down the stretch with a perfect 5-0 record ATS in their last five games. They have won their last four games SU including a big 102-95 victory on the road against San Antonio on April 5 as heavy 13.5-point underdogs. The total has stayed UNDER in four of their last five games.

The Miami Heat have been filling bettor’s pockets since mid-January and with three straight covers in their last three games they are now a profitable 49-31 ATS this season. They are tied with Chicago at 39-41 SU for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference with home games against Cleveland and Washington still on the slate.

Indiana’s 127-112 victory this past Saturday against Orlando as a 4.5-point road favorite with BetAnySports was its fourth cover in a row. The Pacers are in seventh place in the East at an even 40-40 SU (37-43 ATS), but they still need a couple of wins this week against Philadelphia on the road this Monday and Atlanta at home on Wednesday to ensure a spot in the postseason field.

The 76ers (28-52 SU) were one of the better teams this season ATS at 48-31-1, but they could be a good team to go against in their final two games after losing their last six games SU with a costly record of 1-5 ATS. Philadelphia will close out its season on the road with Wednesday night’s game against New York.
