Despite Russell Westbrook scoring 51 and notching yet another triple -double, his Thunder fell in a tight game two in Space City after leading most of the way. Now it’s do or die time for OKC as they face a Rockets team that with the way James Harden has been playing, is going to be tough to beat at all , yet in an entire series. I see the tide changing in this one though as OKC has one of the biggest homecourt advantages in the NBA and the crowd, team, and coaching staff no how desperate they will have to be in game three.

Harden will have his, but it will be on the Rockets supporting cast in this one if they are going to take a 3-0 stranglehold series lead. I see a better performance out of the Thunder role players , which is why I like the Thunder in this one as Steven Adams and Victor Oladipo couldn’t have been much worse in game two and yet the Thunder almost won it. Look for them along with Westbrook as he has all season to have a huge games in front of the home fans.

The Rockets are clearly the overall more talented team, but OKC has the ability to rise above, even with their inferior overall talent, and get a huge win in this one. I see this has being a back and forth game to start, but sometime in the second quarter for the Thunder to use a huge push behind the home crowd to take a double digit lead and never really come into a danger zone of relinquishing it. For at least one night the Thunder will feel they can still win a series where they likely don’t have much a chance of doing so.
