UTAH JAZZ AT GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS GAME TWO (WARRIORS LEAD 1-0)

The Jazz seemed overwhelmed at times late in game one, but showed that they are a worthy opponent for the Warriors, they just have to play a better 48 minutes if they are going to be able to work their way in this series. I see a great chance of that happening after how well the Jazz played in the final stages of game one. Yes it might have been garbage time, but it was more than just that as they really seemed to fight as hard as they would have had it been a two point game late to give themselves some momentum for game two.

Yes, the Warriors are an absolute monster of a team, but I still think it is insane that the spread is 12.5 for a Jazz team that is one of the better defensive teams in the NBA. Utah is going to need a huge game out of Gobert and I think they will get one as Rudy has seemed to gain more and more momentum as this playoff year has gone on. The Warriors can throw a seemingly endless supply of offense at you and that can definitely be a problem for opposing teams, just ask Portland, but Utah has some counters. That is what can get them back in this series.

Look for game two to be relatively tight in the first half like it was in game one, but i see a second half surge for the Jazz behind their solid D and big moments from Gordon Hayward and George Hill and for Utah to make this a tight one until the end. Yes, the Jazz likely won’t win this one, but they are going to keep it under 12 points and send this series back to Utah with a lot of confidence. Utah is the type of team that can sneak up on you and if Golden State isn’t careful , they will do just that.
