The month of March is in full swing and both the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors continue to separate themselves as the top two teams in the NBA. Turning to the rest of the contenders looking for a spot in the postseason, Toronto continues to set the pace in the Eastern Conference at 9-1 its last 10 games with Portland and New Orleans moving up the list in the West with straight-up 8-2 runs in each team’s last 10 contests.

The Rockets extended their current SU winning streak to 15 games with Saturday’s 123-120 victory at home against Boston, although they could not cover BetAnySports’ closing 8.5-point spread. This was just the fourth time in Houston’s last 13 games that it failed to cover against the spread. It is a NBA-best 49-13 SU (32-29-1 ATS) heading into Tuesday’s road game against Oklahoma City.
