NFL Wild Card Sunday | Seahawks Vs. Eagles
Why the Seahawks Win

The Seattle Seahawks are coming off a fierce battle with the 49ers for the NFC Division Title last Sunday night and it was a meltdown.

This game was a wakeup call for the Seahawks. Not only are the Seahawks
the team with the better record coming in at 11-5, but they also went 7-1 on the road this season and they seem to play better under the strain of a road game than at home.

The “12 th Man” thing in Seattle, seems to be a thing of the past. The Eagles are going to be a difficult opponent and they did hold Ezekiel
Elliott to just 47 yards rushing in their last game against the Cowboys, however, they were not playing against Lockett and Wilson.

Get your bets in now. Get them in early and look for a great line. The online
bookies are offering better deals now than they have all-season so make the most of this betting opportunity.

The Eagles are hosting this game because they backed their way into the playoffs in the worst division in football.

The NFC East is no prize to be had but they have it by default. The Giants are terrible and finished the season with 4-wins, the Cowboys missed the playoffs and Jason Garrett has been fired as the head coach and the Redskins fired their coach after another miserable season. As a matter of fact, all three other teams in the division have fired their head coaches.

It’s a downright miserable division.
The funny thing about the misery, the Cowboys were just a play or two in several different games from winning this division and the Eagles have squeaked by. Someone had to win.

The Seahawks come in with possibly the best quarterback in the NFL with Russell Wilson who has had another stellar year with 4110 yards, 31TDs, and just 5-interceptions. Wilson is at the top of his game
and he has weapons with Lockett, Metcalf, Hollister, Moore and others.

He also has Marshawn Lynch! “Beast Mode” is back in town and although he wasn’t spectacular against the 49ers, he did have a TD and you can expect him to be tuned up for this matchup in Philly.

The key for the Seahawks is to not let the grass grow.
They get comfortable at home and have a feeling they will always pull off the win in the end. That used to work for them, it’s no longer working. This team has a different mindset on the road and they tend to play with a deeper sense of urgency in the first half than they do at home. It’s a weird psychological phenomenon.

This game is going to be close. It will certainly not be a blowout either way but we feel Pete Carroll will redeem himself and find yet another road victory. Look for a back and forth first half and look for a shootout in the second with Seattle taking this one.

Seattle – money line win.
