BATTLE OF WATERLOO/BATTLE OF THE BELLES-Eliminations (Mon-July 27th)

On Monday, July 27, the tarmac at the Grand River Raceway will open for the first time this season, but only to 100 licensees and guests will be welcomed on a reservation basis.

Monday will also bring us the eliminations of two signature events at the elora,ontario track those being BATTLE OF WATERLOO – ELIMINATIONS &
BATTLE OF THE BELLES – ELIMINATIONS.

The Battle Of Waterloo draw 14 horses thus 2 eliminations will be held with 7 horses in each.

The first elimination will go as race 3 on the program and the morning line choice is Springbridge Duel (2-1) out of the Casie Coleman Herlihy barn.

The second elimination will come as race 6 with the early morning choice being Avion Seelster (2-1) out of the Jack Darling barn.

In the Battle of The Belles first elimination, race # 4 Scarlett Hanover (5-2) resides in the Ashley Hensley barn.

In the final elimination for the Battle OF The Belles,Sports Check (5-2) draws the rail for trainer Blake Macintosh who is no stranger to this event and draws the services of driver Louis Phillip Roy in what appears to be the best of the 2 eliminations IMHO.
