The Thanksgiving Holiday marks one of the best weekends of the season for college football as a number of great rivalries are renewed all across the nation. The NFL kicks off its stretch run to the playoffs this Sunday and there are a couple of great matchups on the slate in the NBA and NHL over the next three days. The biggest college football game of the season takes place this Saturday afternoon in Columbus when the No. 3 Michigan Wolverines go on the road to tangle with the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes. The eventual outcome of this Big Ten showdown will have major implications for a number of teams trying to earn one of the four spots in this year’s College Football Playoff.

BetAnySports has the Buckeyes listed as 6.5-point home favorites and the total for the game has been set at 45.5. Ohio State has dominated this bitter rivalry for quite some time now with a straight-up 11-1 record in the last 12 meetings. The game is set to kickoff at 12 p.m. (ET) on ABC.

Later Saturday afternoon in a 3:30 p.m. start on CBS, No, 13 Auburn and No. 1 Alabama will renew their heated SEC rivalry in the Iron Bowl. The top-ranked Crimson Tide are heavy 17-point home favorites to complete a perfect SU run through their regular season schedule and BetAnySports has set the total line at 46.5. Week 12 in the NFL features a number of matchups on this Sunday’s slate that could have major implications when it comes to playoff picture in the pros. The biggest showdown of the day is at night on Sunday Night Football when Kansas City travels to Denver to square off against the Broncos. Both teams are 7-3 on the year and a game in back of Oakland in the AFC West Division title race. The Broncos are favored by three points at home with the total set at 39.5. Denver has a 5-2 edge ATS in the last seven meetings and it is 12-3 SU in its last 15 home games against the Chiefs.
