CHEEZ-IT BOWL|Oklahoma State (7–3) vs. Miami (8–2) Dec. 29

2 min read

The 18th ranked Miami Hurricanes and 21st ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys will face off in the 2020 Cheez-It Bowl. The game will take place at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. Kickoff is currently scheduled for 5:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, December 29th.

The Canes enter the post season off an thumping at the hands of the North Carolina Tar Heels back on December 12th (62-26) in a game where the defense must have stayed in the locker room prior to kickoff as they allowed the Tar Heels to run all over them for over 554 yards and 6 TD’s.

The Las Vegas bookmakers opened this game at Oklahoma State (-4.0) with a total of (60.5) but since then we’ve seen plenty of Cane money come in and this number is down to Oklahoma State (-2) and the total is now (58.5)

Miami is 7-3 SUATS versus the Big 12 since 1997, including 5-0 SUATS when not coming off an ATS win, and 2-0 SUATS in bowl games – by an average win 20 PPG.

A very interesting statistic we found is the following.Bowl dogs off one loss-exact as favorites are 25-9 ATS versus foes coming off a win of 17 or more points, including 6-0 ATS when coming off
an ATS loss of more than 32 points.

Oklahoma State has the coaching edge and the bowl experience, but Miami has the better talent and more big-play threats on offense and should bounce back off that embarrasing loss 2 weeks ago History isn’t on the side of the canes (1-9 in bowl games since 2007), but you know the saying” history doesn’t pay the bills”.

Prediction: Miami/Oklahoma Stat UNDER (58.5) w/slight lean on Canes +2
