Duke just continues to marvel in the ACC Tourney as they now have had monster comebacks in consecutive days against Louisville and bitter rival North Carolina. Now they get a chance to battle a during Irish squad for all the marbles in the ACC. Notre Dame has been just as hot, ripping Florida State in the semi’s and setting up what might end up being one of the best ACC title games in a long time.
The big question in this game is if Notre Dame, which has gotten out to leads in all their tournament games, never to relinquish them can do the same against the Blue Devils and stem the comeback which has been Duke’s mantra the past few days. Both these teams can shoot the lights out and are deadly from three, so it is going to come down to which defense can hold when it matters most.
Duke’s Luke Kennard has been deadly and comes off a 20 point game in the win over UNC and I see it carrying over to the game against the Irish. ND has gotten balanced scoring all tourney long from Bonzie Colson, Steve Vasturia, and Matt Farrell and they are going to be a bear to slow down against Duke.
I see this game going down to the wire and both teams have a great chance with how hot they have been, but there is something special going on with Coach K’s team and they will simply find a way to down the Irish and win yet another ACC tourney title.
