As the calendar turns to September, and most teams have 30 games or less left in the year, things are starting to get that much more serious. A big four game series between these two NL playoff hopefuls will go a long way into starting the month off well for one of these teams. The Giants have fallen behind the Dodgers in the NL West, but still are absolutely alive for the division and the NL Wildcard.

This is a very interesting pitching matchup as the Giants send Jeff Samardzjia to the hill who has had an up and down year, but has been pretty solid as of late. The Cubs throw Mike Montgomery, who has been pulled out of the bullpen to the rotation cause of injuries. The Cubs have been playing the better overall baseball as of late, but I love the value here of getting +136 on the comeback, taking the road dog Giants.

This will be a back and forth game, but in the end, the G-Men will start off this big four gamer in high stead. Take the Giants and love the value you get in the only game in this series where you will see it at this level.
