Two teams fighting for playoff berths play the third of four in the Emerald City as one team, Texas is assured of getting in the postseason party, the other, Seattle has some work to do and has been struggling to score runs while Texas has been out of this world offensively as of late.
The Rangers have scored six or more runs in eight consecutive games and are averaging 7.5 runs a game in their past 13. Tonight Texas get a chance to go against struggling rookie Ariel Miranda, who seems to have lost his confidence.
Rangers starter A.J Griffin has won two straight starts coming into this one and is gaining confidence. So this one has all the makings of easy money when it comes to the low line on the AL best Rangers, even being on the road.
I look for Texas to pounce early and often and for this one to be out of doubt by the 5th inning. Seattle will have better days ahead in the month of September, but when they face this red-hot Rangers team tonight, they will wish this four game set was over already.
