MaCtion has been pretty impressive so far this season as both CMU and WMU out of the MAC conference, are a combined 6-0 and Central boasting one of the most impressive wins of the year as a 20 point road dog winning outright at Oklahoma State a couple weeks ago. The Chips have one of the best QB’s you have never heard of in Cooper Rush and can put points up in bunches. The Virginia Cavaliers are simply a bad team and I am surprised this line isn’t higher in Central’s favor after how bad the Cavs have been so far this year.

CMU also is doing it with defense and Virginia is not only having trouble scoring, but having trouble scoring against the likes of Richmond of the FCS and the weak UCONN Huskies. This game has all the makings of a CMU rip fest if they can start off well and take the Cavs home crowd, albeit it likely not a very large one, out of it.

Look for Rush to have a big day and For CMU to go 4-0 for the first time sine the early 2000’s. You can buy the half point down to 2.5 if it makes you feel better, but I honestly do not think even that will come into play. Fire Up Chips as the MAC will continue to show the FBS world that they are no joke as Central will join Western as the second MAC team this year to win two games on the road against Power 5 conference.
