This cross division SEC game is a big a one as both these teams have hopes to make it the SEC title game. This game does come 42 days later than it was originally scheduled because of the effects of Hurricane Matthew and it is a good thing as both teams have been able to work out some issues they were dealing with back in early October when the game was originally supposed to be played.

The Gators find themselves on the cusp of a second consecutive SEC East title, but comes into this game with at least seven starters out due to injury. The LSU Tigers fired their coach Les miles five games ago and are 4-1 under interim coach Ed Ogeron who is making a big case to keep this job permanently.

Florida has the #2 rush D in the SEC, and that is going to come into play with top notch RB Leonard Fournette, who likely would not have played in this game if it was played back on October 8th. Florida will have to deal with all these injuries, but they will be up to the task in by far their biggest game of the season and hang in as the 14 and a half points should be more than enough as this game is going to come down to the end and it would not be crazy to even see Florida pull the mildly crazy outright upset.
