The 113th edition of “The Game” will easily be one of the most important in a series that dates back to 1897! The task is simple for these two teams, win and you go into the College Football Playoff, lose and it gets a little tricky.

If Ohio State wins, they will not play in the B1G 10 Title game because they would lose the tie break to Penn State, but would likely get into the final four. If you’re Michigan and lose, there could be some crazy scenario that they could sneak in if a lot of team lose in the final two weeks, but likely they would be out.

This is going to be a classic, and will feel that way throughout as both these teams know each other better than they do anyone else. Michigan will hope to get starting QB Wilton Speight back from injury after missing the Indiana win last week, and has spilt the first team reps with back up John Children of O’Korn this week. That is going to be a major key in this one, so make sure you keep up on the latest news on who will be the Wolverines starter at ScoresandStats.com.

The Wolverines ability to stop the Buckeyes run game of Mike Weber and company is also going to be a massive key in this one.

Bucks QB J.T Barrett has the ability to take over a game and Ohio State is hoping he can do that, but know it will be tough against the nations #1 ranked run D.

Look for this game to have the intensity of a national title game from the jump and for both teams to have triumphant moments and times of despair. In the end players like the Do-Everything hybrid LB and DB Jabrill Peppers and a potent Wolverine offense will be the difference in this one as Michigan books its spot in the CFP and gets their rivalry with the Buckeyes back on track, winning in Columbus for the first time since 2000.

Be sure to get your bets in on this one early, as the lines have been changing.
