The Redskins didn’t do themselves any favors on Monday Night Football, getting embarrassed at home to the lowly Carolina Panthers, hurting their playoff hopes and making their game with the Bears basically a must win just 5 short days later.

Chicago has been out of playoff contention for a while, but under QB Matt Barkley, the Bears third of the season, have played some inspired football for coach John Fox and the Bears faithful.

Now Washington comes into chilly Solider Field needing a win against a team they should be able to get one against, but nothing is easy late in the NFL season. Washington QB Kirk “Kissing” Cousins is going to have to be much better than he was on Monday night and the Skins D is going to have to step up and control the emerging Jordan Howard and his ability to gash big runs at big moments.

The Bears will be in this one for a little while in front of likely a half empty stadium like it was last week for the Packers game, but towards the third quarter the Skins depth and overall talent will be too much as they will win this one going away against a Bears team that I think saw their last gasp best effort in their failed late comeback bid against Green bay last week.
