Yes I know this game is basically a glorified scrimmage, and seems to be dying on the vine, but this is the second to last football game for over 200 days, so drink it up while you can. Surprisingly there has been some decent value to Pro Bowl betting over the past decade, and I see this year’s game as one of those years as they ditch the un-conferenced format and go back to a straight AFC V NFC battle.

When I look at the Pro Bowl as far as wagering goes, it is always about QB depth and then skill position depth, as there are so many out with injuries that can cloud one particular sides value in this game. When you look at the NFC QB’s in Dak Prescott, Drew Brees, and Kirk Cousins I see more downfield passing ability then the AFC’s bunch of Alex Smith, Big Ben, and Andy Dalton.

Then you look at the NFC’s top skill guys in Dez Bryant, OBJ, Greg Olson, Zeke Elliott, and Jordan Howard and I see a lot more points then I do with the AFC side.

Listen, lets be honest, this game really is a total crap shoot most of the time, but when you look up and down these rosters and who is playing and who isn’t, there is clearly better value on the NFC side, which is why they are favored and why I see them possibly winning this one going away.

I also like a small play on the UNDER as I think 83 points with these two rosters is a little too high.
