GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS AT PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS GAME 3 (WARRIORS LEAD SERIES 2-0)

TV: ESPN

I found it amazing that the Warriors were -$20,000 in their first round series against eight seeded Portland. Meaning if you wagered $100 on the Warriors you would win 50 cents! That just shows you how much better the Warriors are than pretty much any NBA team in recent memory that isn’t named the Spurs or Cavs. In the first two games you saw Portland give it their best shot and still get blasted by 29 in game two and 12 in game one. The Moda Center crowd will be fired up to start in this one, but the bottom line is the Blazers just don’t have enough to even hang with the Warriors right now, yet alone win a game in the series.
I look for the Dubs to come out draining triple sin this one and taking a huge first quarter lead and never really looking back. The combo of Curry and Thompson has been lethal as it usually is for and Andre Iguodala and Draymond Green have been playing some unbelievable intense moments for Golden State.
Portland is a young team that is finding it’s way and has a bright future ahead of itself. When you look at what Damien Lillard and C.J McCollum are able to do some nights, it has to give you tons of hope if you are a Portland fan. They have gotten solid play at times out of Allen Crabbe and youngster Maurice Harkless, and seem to be building this team the right way for some future runs.
The bad news is this year they just are not on the same planet as the Warriors and I see Golden State taking the crowd out of this early, which can be a huge boost to Portland at times, and running away with this one before you can say snicklefritz! I see the Warriors -6 as a weak line as in the end they might be tonight in this one for a little while, but i would be truly stunned if they didn’t win this one by double digits in the end.
