The NBA playoffs lift off with two teams feeling much different vibes as they enter the NBA’s second season. The Cavs have been fumbling and bumbling around for the better part of a month, lost their grip on the overall one seed in the East, and ended the season winning just four of their last 10. The Pacers might have gotten lucky to get a Cavs team that is asking themselves a lot more questions than they have answers for right now.

Now lets be honest, Cleveland is still really likely to win this series and get to at least the Eastern Conference Finals, but this Pacers team led by Paul George might just have enough to make things somewhat interesting in their first round series. Game one for a road team is always where you want to look for value in the NBA Playoffs and I see a ton here with the Pacers, who are playing with a ton of confidence right now, getting 8.5 points.

Lebron and Company are going to have their moments, but with the way guys like Lance Stephenson and Miles Turner have played late this season, and the Pacers ability to play late game defense, this one could come down to the wire. I look for this to be the type of game that you turn it on and it’s in the late third quarter and Indy is up by a bucket or two. In the end the Cavs likely win this one, but I am eating up the 8.5 with the Pacers and have very little trust in Cleveland has they enter the postseason.
