The Tom Savage show became official after last weeks comeback win over Jacksonville and now the QB who came in for the benched Brock Osweiler will look to move Houston a step closer to a division title against a Cinci team that has been eliminated from playoff contention. Houston paid Osweiler $40 million to come over from Denver, but Savage, making less than $650,000 this year is their answer now.

This is one of those games that feels like it could be trouble for the home team, with a QB making his first ever career start against a veteran signal caller in Andy Dalton, but Houston needs this game and has the defense to slow down the Bengals offense that gets WR A.J Green back for the first time in five weeks.

Savage made me a believer last week and coupled with a Texans D that played with tremendous heart late last week, I am fading the home team here in a game that I see going back and forth until the end, but a late Texans defensive stop or turnover being the difference as they keep their playoff hopes and division title hopes alive on Christmas Eve.
