The Dolphins travel to NYC in a virtual must win to keep pace in the crowded AFC wildcard race. The Jets are an abomination and might be playing for their coach’s job as they have completely fallen off the map in year two under Todd Bowles after a double digit winning season in year one. This game could get out of hand in a jiffy right before Christmas, not sending the Jets happily on their holiday break.
Miami had a shock when they thought starting QB Ryan Tannehill was out for the year with a torn MCL/ACL. Luckily for them it was only a sprain and while he won’t play in NYC, he could come back for a possible playoff run. The Fins have had a nice second half of the season behind RB Jay Ajayi and the balanced Tannehill led offense. It will look a little different under journeyman Matt Moore, but won’t skip a huge beat. Bryce Petty and the Jets offense on the other hand has had issues and will continue to against the tough Miami front.
Look for the Jets to fight hard at the start, but behind the legs of Ajayi and the mistake free play of Moore, Miami will just have too much in the end. The Jets better bet careful cause if they really fall apart the rest of the season it could definitely cost Bowles his job. This will be a performance that leans that way for the J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS.
