BOSTON CELTICS AT WASHINGTON WIZARDS GAME THREE (BOSTON LEADS 2-0)
Thursday, May 4th, 8 PM
TV: TNT
(Current America’s Bookie‘s Line WASHINGTON -5.5 TOTAL 218.5)
We night have seen one of the great playoff performances of all time in game two by Celts star Isaiah Thomas, who just scored 53, brought his team all the way back to an OT win, and did it on his late sister’s birthday. It was simply one for the ages and the Wizards were unfortunately on the wrong end of history. Now Washington has to win game three at home or for all intents and purposes this series will be over.
The Wiz are definitely capable of beating Boston and making this a series, but after Wall and Beal combine for 70 and they still don’t win , this team might just be shaken to much to its core to get back in this one. Look for the Wizards to come out fighting as they know their backs are against the proverbial wall and they might win this one outright, but there is absolutely no way I am not taking the C’s and points. This is a Boston team that never thinks they are out of a game and knows they have one of the NBA’s great stars in Thomas , who can always lead them back from the wilderness.
This is going to be a fun game and one with many twists and turns, but in the end , even if Washington wins, it is going to be close. These are the kind of must-win games that make the playoff’s so special. It doesn’t have to be a game seven or an elimination game to have tremendous drama and that is a perfect example of why this game is gong to be dripping with so much of it.
