SAN ANTONIO SPURS AT MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES GAME 6 (SPURS LEAD SERIES 3-2)

Thursday, April 27th, 9:30PM

TV: TNT

(Current America’s Bookie‘s Line SPURS -4 TOTAL 190)

Just when it had seemed like Memphis wrestled away all of the momentum from the Spurs as they tied the series up at two a piece after an epic late game four win, The Spurs do what they do best, take that momentum right back. It was a brilliant performance for the West’s two seed in game number five as they had an answer to everything Memphis threw at them as they won it going away 116-103. It was a stark contrast to how this series has looked in the games played in Memphis and the Grizzlies have to turn that around and fast before their season could be over.

Now the Grizzlies have to put up their best performance of this series with their backs against the wall against ea Spurs team that is one of the best in the NBA over the past decade plus of winning elimination games. The Spurs inside-outside game killed Memphis in San Antonio and they will look to do more of the same at the start of game six to take the rabid Memphis crowd out of it early. The Grizzlies have been a totally different team at home so far in the first rounder and that has to be the case again on Thursday night if they want to extend this series.

Marc Gasol will have to be a lot better than he was in game five and Z-Bo and Mike Conley are going to have to carry a huge part of the load if the Grizzlies want to extend this series to a winner-take-all game seven. Look for the Memphis crowd to play a big part in getting their team off to a great start as the Grizzlies truly have fed off their crowd’s energy at home so far in this series. I see this as a back and forth game the whole way with neither team leading by more than 7 or 8. In the end Memphis will come up with just enough to either win this one outright or lose by a possession and bring the series back for what should be an epic game seven by the Riverwalk.
