There is simply no other way to put it, the Jags have been awful this year. Just one year removed from their first season with true momentum in well over a decade, they just can’t seem to put it together. The Titans on the other hand haven’t been much better in recent years, but at least have played better this season and have a solid defense.
That being said, the offense has been putrid at times and second year QB Marcus Mariota has made strides, but also has regressed at some big moments this season as well.
Jags coach Gus Bradley may very well be coaching for his job in this one, as his seat has gone from warm to hot to super scolding in the last few weeks. If not for their last second win over Indy in London, Bradley might already be gone.
Last weeks home beat down at the hands of Oakland just might have made this game his last stand. Look for his team to play like their lives are on the line and his depends on it and I think we are going to finally see that Jags offense truly break out for a full 60 minutes.
I see Jags QB Blake Bortles having his best game of the season on Thursday Night Football and both WR’s Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson torching the Titans secondary, which has had its issues this year. Tennessee will have some moments, but this night will belong to Jacksonville on the road. Saving Bradley for at least one more week of the 2016 season.
