Let’s put it this way, both these NFC North rivals are in a lot of trouble. Of course the Bears are in much bigger trouble as their season appears over even as we just enter week 7, the Packers seem like they simply don’t know who they are anymore. Aaron Rodgers looks completely pedestrian, the Pack just lost RB Eddie Lacy for weeks, and the defense is having a ton of trouble stopping anybody.
The good news for the Packers faithful is that they welcome in one of the worst teams in the league for a game between the most played rivalry in NFL history. Chicago has been a mess all season long and after losing QB Jay Cutler to injury they went to veteran journeyman Brain Hoyer, who honestly has been better than Cutler has been in many spots recently for Chicago, but still has a ton of issues.
This smells of a get-right type of game for the Pack against the horrid Bears defense even though Green Bay’s offense has had a ton of issues as of late. I look for the Pack to score early and often and for this game to be out of reach by the third quarter. Load up on G.B., as for one week they will look like one of the NFC’s best teams again.
