Santa Anita is back on the docket today with 9 races set to begin at 12:30 PT.
On Saturday we are treated to the $100,000 Honeymoon Stakes for 3 year old fillies going 1 1/8 mile on the turf.
The field for the Honeymoon Stakes is set with pre-race favorite being the Irish Bred #9 Stela Star who was a solid runner up in the China Doll Stakes right here at Santa Anita back on March 7th.
LAURA’S LIGHT will be the main danger as she will ship in Saturday from her San Luis Rey Downs Training Center base.Laura’s Light has bee favored in four out of her five starts and a two-time Santa Anita turf stakes winner.
