The NBA regular season continues to draw to a close and the race for the top spot in both the Eastern and Western Conference standings remains too close to call. The Cleveland Cavaliers have lost ground to Boston, Washington and Toronto with a straight-up 5-5 record in their last 10 games. All three of those teams are playing some solid ball down the stretch with a combined 12-game winning streak heading into this week’s games.
Boston (48-26) has won its last four games SU to draw even with the Cavaliers at the top of the conference standings, but it is just 2-4 against the spread in its last six outings. The total has gone OVER in five of its last seven games. The Celtics beat Miami 112-108 on Sunday, but they could not cover as six-point home favorites. They will be back in action this Tuesday in a home game against Orlando.
The Wizards beat Cleveland 127-115 this past Saturday as six-point road underdogs with BetAnySports to pull within 2.5 games of the leaders. Washington (45-28) has now covered in its last two games after going a costly 1-6-1 ATS in its previous eight contests. The total has gone OVER in 11 of the Wizards’ last 14 games. They continue their current five game road trip this Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Toronto has the longest SU winning streak in the East at five games while going 4-1 ATS. The Raptors are 3.5 games back in the standings at 44-29 heading into Monday night’s game against Orlando as nine-point home favorites with BetAnySports. The total has stayed UNDER in three of the five wins.
Golden State has tried to put some distance between itself and San Antonio in the West with a SU seven-game winning streak while going a profitable 6-1 ATS. The Warriors are now 59-14 on the year and 2.5 games ahead of the Spurs. They head on the road this Tuesday for the first of this week’s home-and-home series against Houston with the NBA’s two highest-scoring teams also playing one another this Friday night in Golden State.
San Antonio has won its last four games SU, but going back to March 1 it is a costly 4-10 ATS in its last 14 games. The total has gone OVER in five of its last seven outings. The Spurs will square off against Cleveland on Monday night as 4.5-point home favorites with BetAnySports.
