NFL Week #3 Carolina at Houston Thurs Sept 23rd Props & Side Play

Week 3 of the NFL gets underway on Thursday with an Interconference clash between the Carolina Panthers (2-0) visiting the Houston Texans (1-1) at NRG Stadium, Houston, Texas.

Carolina knocked off New Orleans 26-7 at home Sunday after beat the new York Jets in week #1. Houston enters this game off a 31-21 loss to the Cleveland Browns.

The line moved over the one TD mark with the questonable status of QB- Tyrod Taylor who left Sunday’s game vs. the Browns with what’s reported as a hamstring injury for the Hosuton Texans. Carolina’s defense leads the league in scoring defense as they have racked up 10 sacks already and will make life very difficult for rookie backup Davis Mills.

Mark Ingram total rushing yards (33.5) (-115)
In week 1 versus Jacksonville Ingram carried the ball 26 times for 85 yards. In week 32 versus Cleveland he carried the ball 14 times for 41 yards. With the status of Tyrod Taylor still up in the air we don’t see rookie Davis Mills throw much in this one and there should be a large dose of run run run. If Ingram breaks one early we should have this over 33.5 covered easy.

Sam Darnold total passing yards (263.5)
Week #1 Darnold completed 24 of 35 passes for over 279 yards with a pass rating of 102. Last week agsint that tough Saints defense he made it look real easy completing 26 of 38 passes for 305 yards.
last week the browns put up 216 yards passing on Hosuton but they didnt need the long ball since their running backs did most of the damage on the ground running for over 156 yards.
