Free Agency Frenzy in The NFL
2 min readWith all the news being pointed towards to Covid-19 virus I hope you didn’t miss the frenzy of free agent signings on Tuesday in the NFL.
It didn’t take long for the New England Patriots to thank QB Tom Brady for the 5,6 or 7 Super Bowl rings whomever remembers how many he win great for you,but he will no longer be a part of the Patriots going forward in 2010-2021.
Brady leaves the Patriots on his terms and will be making what appears to be his new home south as a Tampa Bay Buccaneer. How many good years does this guy have in him as he’s 42 and at tops you’ll maybe get 3-4 years tops.
Teams that you can consider winners in the free agency signs can be San Francisco,Cleveland,Las Vegas Raiders,Indy Colts just to name a few.
The 49ers freed up some cash which reportedly was used to keep key defensive players like Arik Armstead, safety Jimmie Ward and end Ronald Blair on board for 2021 but that did come at a cost of trading defensive tackle DeForest Bucker to the Colts for the No. 13 overall pick.
The Cleveland Browns. Oh every year we harp about the Browns and every year they let the dawg pound down so to speak. Fullback Andy Janovich joins the team. Jack Conklin and tight end Austin Hoope should help the newly formed play action pass style of offense but as always we shall see.
Las Vegas Raiders. Signed linebackers Cory Littleton and Nick Kwiatkosk. Throw in the 3 ex cowboys, Maliek Collins, Jason Witten and Jeff Heath, and you have a pretty strong case for a playoff push on their new stomping ground.
Indy Colts. The Colts showed up with cash to spend and they are doing just that. They locked down left tackle Anthony Castonzo.Frank Reich will be licking his chops this year and you’ve got a team that can seriously make a push for the AFC title.
I’m sure in the next few days there will be more to talk about but right now we hope everyone stays safe as the world and times are changing around us.
Sports has taken a back seat to the Coronavirus as it should and when things begin to settle down the NFL and all other major sports teams and events around the world will return bigger and stronger than before.
We as a nation, country and the world must learn from this and strive to make sure the next generation and the one after that are well prepared to tackle what we are tackling today.
Casino,Horseracing and other forms of gaming excitement which continue to keep us busy in our homes can also be enjoyed online at places like Americasbookie
See you soon.
