Pennzoil 400 Sunday Feb 23 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway
2 min readNascar heads west this coming Sunday with a stop at at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the Pennzoil 400.
The best news coming out of Dayton Speedway is that this past week Ryan Newman walked out of the hospital holding his daughters’ hands which was the most epic photo shared over social media.
Anyone who can walk away from a crash like that is going to be thankful to not only be able to walk out of the hospital but lucky to even see another day.
This goes without saying that the safety precautions which Nascar and the team crews have installed in these cars is second to non.
In case you missed it, there were several restarts in the final 10 laps including the final restart which was in overtime.
Denny Hamlin was looking strong in each one but on the final go, Ryan Blaney got together with Ryan Newman and they both zoomed by him.
Hamlin quickly caught back up to Blaney and gave him a little bump draft/clip that had him ever so slightly out of control and he did the same to Newman who immediately went airborne and the rest was ugly.

Hey if you like Jimmy Johnson a 4 time winner at this track you can now get him at +400. This is the last time we will see Jimmy Johnson at the oval so why not hold a ticket on the 7 time champion even if it’s strictly for keep sake.
