Picks For NFL Week #13| A looking inside the numbers.
2 min readIt’s week 13 in the NFL and we begin to get a much clear picture of what the playoffs may look like in a few weeks time.
The Week 13 schedule features 15 games, and the key match up this week is between my Cleveland Browns and The Tennessee Titans who meet at 1 p.m. today and both are major AFC playoff contenders.
The current posted line at Americasbookie.com has the home team as a 5 point favorite with this line moving a full 1.5 points to the up side on the Titans throughout the week.
If you recall last season Tennessee kicked the Browns of Cleveland to the curb 43-13, but this is a different team in 2020.
The Browns have failed to cover 5 of their last 6 games and have a date next Monday on prime time versus the Ravens of Baltimore. The Titans finally return home for a game after taking apart the Colts by 19 pts last week.
The Titans are 17-7 SU since Ryan Tannehill took over at QB in October of
last year, not to mention “over” 19-5 in Tannehill’s starts.
I know I may be knocking down my team but who have the browns really beat in 2020? Cleveland has (wins over Bengals twice,WFT, Cowboys, Texans, Eagles, and Jags…none better than 4-7
The Titans are 4-12 SU and
2-13-1 ATS after scoring 28-plus points when facing a foe
seeking revenge. When I look at this game I don’t buy into the revenge factor one bit and haven’t liked what I’ve seen from the Browns in 2020 who would IMHO have a tough time beating the likes of Ohio State if they played one another. Now for what I do like, the up-swing in this line.
I believe the Titans have enough to go over the top for their ninth win of 2020 but I have to grab the (+5) here in a key divisional match -up
Final score: Titans 30, Browns 27
Other Predictions
Vikings 31, Jaguars 21
Raiders 31, Jets 17
Seahawks 40, Giants 16
