Why the Saints Win

Vikings Vs. Saints
1:05 ET FOX
Line: NO -7, O/U 49.5

The Vikings come in once again as they always do, looking good. It’s the same old song and dance with the Minnesota Vikings. Look Vikings fans, in no way are we trying to alienate you. We love the Vikings and their brand of football and we absolutely love how they are managed and coached. This team has the goods to win a playoff game but can they get it done in New Orleans?

We don’t think so and Drew Brees is not the only reason why. Find a great online bookie and get all of your bets in for this fantastic wild card weekend. The Vikings/Saints game offers a plethora of opportunities for wagering options with player and game props as well as some great teaser options.

The Vikings hit the Superdome with a 10-6 record and between them and the Saints – A couple of stars that are ready to make their mark in the city of New Orleans. Dalvin and Alvin are on their way and what they bring is definitely not average. Which one has more of an impact on this game? Will the Saints play with a defensive urgency or do they run pound for pound with the Vikings and let them stay close all the way?

We say the latter. Both of these teams can score and both have quarterbacks that can deliver.

The Saints have nothing to prove at home. They are the team to beat. The Vikings have everything to prove.

Delvin Cook will be asked to make plays and make a lot of them. What this game comes down to is not a defensive effort. Throw the defense out the window right now and start loving OVER the total! This game will be a high scoring barnburner and it’s going to be fun. It’s going to be the best game of the weekend so be sure to check with your bookie for all of the great prop lines that are being offered.

As mentioned, we love Mike Zimmer and we think he has the goods to win but not today. Sean Payton is battle-tested and he knows the adjustments he has to make to win this game. He is a master motivator and even thought Brees is getting older, he shows no signs of slowing. Look for well over 300 passing yards from both he and Cousins. Again, no defense in this one.
Alvin Kamara wins the battle on the ground and sets up the offense for the win.

All game long the Saints will be pounding the ground first, and it’s going to work against the Vikings defensive line. The Saints are not soft in the backfield and although we like the offensive line for the Vikings it wont be enough.

The Saints know what they have to do and that’s – pump it up. They will and they get just enough defense to win this thing. Saints -7.
