Saturday: Notre Dame vs Wisconsin Props & Prediction for NCAA Week 4

The Fighting Irish are feeling it as they travel to Soilders Field in Chicago riding a three game winning streak to being the season.

Notre Dame pulled off a 27-13 win over Purdue one week ago. “That followed a pair of 3 point victories for the Fighting Irish, who held on for a 41-38 overtime win over Florida State and a 32-29 win over Toledo in its first two games of the season.

Notre Dame and Wisconsin have faced each other 16 previous times with Notre Dame leading the all-time series 8-6-2. Their last match came in 1964 and the Irish won easily, 31-7. The Badgers arriving in Chicago fresh off a bye week. The Badgers’ last game was on September 11th when they crushed Eastern Michigan, 34-7. In that game,Badgers racked up 352 yards on the ground including four touchdowns. Running back, Chez Mellusi carried the rock 20 times for 144 yards and a touchdown. After two games, Wisconsin’s rush defense is ranked #1 in the country in rush yards allowed per game. Wisconsin held Eastern Michigan to 16 yards rushing in week two and limited Penn State to just 50 yards rushing in week one.

Wisconsin will have Linebacker Leo Chenal back with the first team after missing the first two games due to Covid protocol.

The total in this game is lowe for a reason. Wisconsin will run the ball again and again until Notre Dame’s defense proves it can stop it. On defense, Wisconsin is a monster against the run.
If Notre Dame is to remain undefeated they will need to due this by throwing downfield as we can’t see them being sucessful running against the #1 ranked dense versus the run in the country.

We don’t believe this is going to happen for either side running the ball and even if there are a few long balls tossed down field a TD of 54.5+ yards doesnt seem possible in our opinon.

Vale is the key in this one so why not try it at +200. A quaterback fumble inside the 10 yard line run back in for the score. How about a pick down the side line run back for a quick 6. Value in this one so we will toss it out there.
