UFC Vegas 55 Odds, Predictions and Preview

On Saturday, May 21, the UFC Fight Night event will take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. Former champion Holly Holm will be making her return to the octagon. She’ll compete in the main event against Ketlen Vieira for a bantamweight division bout.

Holly Holm vs. Ketlen Vieira Prediction

This bout, with these two styles of fighters, doesn’t look to have a lot of fireworks. This could be a very long main event for the viewers.

I am predicting that it will go the distance. Also, Holm will do a good job in keeping her distance and defending takedowns. But, if this fight goes to the ground, that will be the avenue where Vieira can get the job done.

I don’t see a finish happening here unless to an unforeseen injury. Or, if Holm catches Vieira with a high kick off a break of the clinch.

If Vieira takes Holm down she will most likely be looking to just control her from the top. She’ll do this as long as she can to win on the scorecards like that.

Best Bet: Holm to win by decision -110

Santiago Ponzinibbio Vs. Michel Pereira Prediction

This bout might be the people’s main event this Saturday. Two of the most exciting athletes in the UFC are facing off in the co-main event. The betting odds are basically a pick ‘em in this one because literally anything can happen. Especially with these two in the octagon.

I see this one being high pace and Michel Pereira will have the advantage in the judges eyes with his flashy techniques. I can see Pereira landing a flying knee or a spinning technique and hurting Pnzinibbio.

Best Bet: Pereira to win -120

Chidi Njokuani Vs. Dusko Todorovic Prediction

In this middleweight bout, I am expecting a knockout. I think that Todorovic’s chin is not strong and Njokuani has some serious power in his hands.

I expect sometime in the late first or early second Njokuani will catch Todorovic and put him down. Njokuani has the reach advantage. He’ll look to catch Todorovic at the end of his punches. I bet he will be seeing the knockout happening even before the walk to the cage.

He is a very good kickboxer and is just going to outclass Todorovic on the feet. His debut in the UFC octagon was very impressive with a 16 second KO with a right overhand.
